We Are Family

Excited to be part of the We Are Family exhibition at Electro Studios Project Space in St Leonards on Sea, UK. I have six pieces in the show - from my embroidered family photographs of my 2018 Strange New World series to my recent textile piece, Rose Tinted (grass is always greeener) from my No Wall Flower series (2021-23). All works use my own family photographs, combined with collage and techniques considered ‘women’s work’ such as embroidery and sewing.

My work is in good company as they appear alongside some brilliant pieces from talented local and international artists.

With art, events and workshops looking at the relationships and dynamics of family. Work from over 40 artists considers family; biological, found, chosen, love, grief, parenting, childhood, home.
